What is your role at MERIT?
As an Oncology Project Manager, I oversee study activities from start-up through close-out, ensuring that client timelines and deliverables are met. I work closely with both clients and sites to provide guidance and support in the use of EXCELSIOR throughout the duration of each study.
What do you like about working at MERIT?
I love working alongside a talented group of individuals with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise, which creates a truly dynamic and collaborative environment. I also enjoy the opportunity to work with different clients, connect with new people, and contribute to helping them achieve their study goals. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a company that helps bring novel therapies to those who need them.
Why did you get into clinical research?
I’ve always had a strong aptitude for science and medicine, which naturally led me to explore opportunities in clinical research. During my graduate program, I developed a particular interest in oncology and gained a deeper understanding of how clinical trials contribute to advancing new therapies. That experience confirmed my desire to work in a field where I could support the development of innovative treatments.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I am typically in a yoga or Lagree studio taking a class or spending quality time with my family and friends. I also enjoy exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time outdoors whenever I can!
