What is your role at MERIT?
As an oncology sales associate, my role is to connect Sponsors—including biotech and pharma companies—to our specialized imaging core lab solutions. I work closely with clinical teams to understand their trial needs and help align them with the tools and support needed to run efficient, high-quality oncology clinical studies. I focus on building partnerships on the West Coast.
What do you like about working at MERIT?
I enjoy contributing to such a vital space—helping bring life-changing therapies to cancer patients around the world. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that the work we do supports that larger mission. I also genuinely enjoy working with the wonderful team at MERIT and collaborating every day with passionate, driven colleagues.
Why did you get into clinical research?
I got into clinical research to make a meaningful impact. For me, it’s very motivating to know that my work contributes to improving patients’ lives. Building a career doing something I enjoy while helping people along the way is a win-win.
How do you see your position fitting into the company as a whole?
I see my role in bringing in new business opportunities while also managing Sponsor relationships as a vital part of MERIT’s growth and success. By supporting both business development and client satisfaction, I help ensure that MERIT continues to build a strong reputation and lasting partnerships in the oncology research space.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and our dogs Phoenix and Rocky—whether we’re at the beach, hiking local trails, trying new food spots around San Diego, or visiting new places.
