MERIT Employee Spotlight is a series featuring team members introducing themselves, outlining their role at MERIT, and explaining why they chose to work in the clinical trials industry.
What is your role at MERIT?
As a Senior Project Manager, Respiratory, I support clinical studies across the full project lifecycle, contributing to study coordination, documentation, vendor and site communication, regulatory support, and close-out activities. I bring a practical, organized approach to clinical trial project management and high-quality research delivery.
What is your background?
I’m a PMP-certified project management professional with experience in healthcare research, data management, and clinical operations. I hold a Doctorate and Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, and a Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) credential.
What do you like about working at MERIT?
I love the collaborative culture here! Everyone is genuinely invested in each other’s success and the work we do truly matters. It’s motivating to come to work every day knowing our efforts are making a real difference in patients’ lives.
Why did you get into clinical research?
I’ve always been passionate about the intersection of science and helping people. Clinical research felt like the perfect way to contribute to something bigger than myself and be part of advancing medicine in a meaningful way.
What do you do in your free time?
When I’m not working, you can usually find me with my nose in a book, out on a run, or spending quality time with my beagle. The three of them keep me pretty busy—and very happy!
