What is your role at MERIT?
My role is as an Imaging Quality Control Specialist II for the Oncology team here at MERIT. My responsibilities include processing clinical trial data in EXCELSIOR, data upload, and data quality evaluation. I’m a certified CT/MRI Technologist with over 20 years of experience in Radiology.
What do you like about working at MERIT?
I have an amazing group of coworkers who are always willing to help each other which makes for an enjoyable work environment. I appreciate the opportunity to expand my knowledge of continuing developments in research. The flexibility of remote work has been great for balancing my career and family life.
Why did you get into clinical research?
I wanted to broaden my experience in healthcare and to contribute to medical advancement. It is rewarding to know my contributions will help improve the quality of life for many.
What do you do in your free time?
My husband and I have two girls that keep us busy and on the go. You can usually find us in a gym watching them do what they love, playing volleyball or basketball. When we are home, we like to spend our time out by our pool. We are also big Husker fans and enjoy watching any football, volleyball, or basketball game. We live near Lincoln, Nebraska.
